Scan controls, filters, and batch folder selection

Invenio 0.3.3 gives you more control over indexing: when it runs, what it scans, and how quickly you can set up a media library.

What changed

Why scan control matters

AI media search starts with indexing. For small folders, that can be simple. For professional archives, the library may include years of footage, exported renders, proxy files, backups, raw camera folders, audio bounces, and old project material.

With scan controls and filters, Invenio can fit better into real editing workflows. You can start with the folders that matter today, skip file types you do not need, pause a long scan, and resume when your Mac is free again.

Common workflow

A documentary editor can add interview folders, filter by recent shoot dates, let Invenio index speech and visual content, then search the archive by a quote, subject, or scene description. A creator can add several recording directories at once and avoid manually repeating the same setup for every folder.
